Today marks the 115th anniversary of the Military Household, created in 1909. Since then, this body has been responsible for guaranteeing the security of the President of the Nation and the highest authorities of the country, playing an essential role in the organization of protocol and official activities.

Dependent on the Presidency of the Nation, the Military Household has always been firmly committed to the protection, logistics and ceremonial of the Head of State of the Nation. Its objective includes not only the physical security of the President, but also the planning of transfers, official events and coordination with other security forces.

This anniversary is an opportunity to recognise the dedication of men and women who, for more than a century, have served with loyalty, discretion and professionalism, protecting the most relevant figures of the Executive Branch in the country.

Today, 115 years after its foundation, we salute those who form part of this historic institution.
