During the 142nd inaugural speech of the Ordinary Sessions of the Argentine Congress, President Javier Milei called on the 23 provinces and the City of Buenos Aires to sign a new foundational pact for the Argentine Republic.

The pact consists of a ten-point agreement aimed at rebuilding the foundations of Argentina.

The joint signature of the so-called "May Pact" will be subject to the approval of the "Ley Bases y Puntos de Partida para la Libertad de los Argentinos" and a new Fiscal Pact.

The President will summon the governors next week to Casa Rosada in order to move forward with the proposed guidelines.
