President Javier Milei visited, as part of his visit to Israel, the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum and the Keren Kayemet LeIsrael Forest in Jerusalem, accompanied by the Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei; the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, Diana Mondino, and the Ambassador-designate to Israel, Rabbi Axel Wahnish.

The president toured the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum, located on Jerusalem's Mount of Remembrance, and paid tribute to the memory of the six million Jews murdered during the Second World War.

"The Holocaust reminds us of our responsibility and commitment to freedom and the need to defend human rights as fundamental pillars of a just society. And it also urges us not to remain silent. Because silence is an accomplice," said the head of state, who also called for "the release of the more than 100 hostages who have been held hostage for more than 100 days".

The president then went to the Keren Kayemet LeIsrael Forest, where he fulfilled the tradition of the Jewish people of planting a tree to put down roots in the land of Jerusalem.
