This afternoon, President Mauricio Macri received United States Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, at the Presidential residence in Olivos, Buenos Aires.

Argentina stands out as a trusted partner in our shared efforts to restore democracy to #Venezuela," tweeted Secretary Pompeo shortly after the meeting.
President Macri was accompanied by Foreign Minister, Jorge Faurie; Secretary for Strategic Affairs, Fulvio Pompeo; and Presidencial Spokesperson, Iván Pavlovsky. The US delegation was composed of Assistant Secretary for Western Hemisphere Affairs, Kimberly Breier; Spokesperson for the United States Department of State, Morgan Ortagus; and US Ambassador to Argentina, Edward Prado.
