Patio de las Palmeras

The “Palm Tree Patio” is the Casa Rosada’s majestic central courtyard, with Italianate lines in the north wing and the presidential sector. Surrounded by an arcade, the patio is named after the four indigenous Yatay palm trees that embellish it. A fountain and two garden vases purchased from French foundry Val D’Osne, lined with Carrara marble, lie at the centre of the courtyard, with English ceramic floor tiles.
